Centrifugal Punp:

1. Measure the height of overhead tank and depth of underground tank at your home. Measure capacity of overhead tank. Calculate Delivery head, Suction head, head loss at delivery head in pipe frictions and bands, velocity head and manometric head required to fill full tank within 15 min. Calculate hydraulic power required. Select suitable pump and its electric motor as per IS standard and pump performance characteristics curve.

1. Draw vehicle performance curves from engine performance curve and given gear ratio of given vehicle. Write how maximum vehicle speed can be achived and range of vehicle speed to shift gears from performance curves of vehicle.
